I traveled to many of these communities over the summer and they are pissed. They were looking forward to transitioning to renewable energy jobs. Black lung is only part of the story. Now with mountain top removal, the jobs are temporary.

Elected Dems must not vote yes on any bill that harms people. Do not bend even an inch. Schumer's vote yes on the republicans bill last winter using the excuse we can fix it later failed and led us to where we are today. DO NOT COMPROMISE with haters and liars

This would become a generational debt holding families hostage. The average age of a first time homebuyer now is 40. The bate and repo of this latest scheme is obvious.
A 50 year mortgage would be just great for the banks. We'd all pay more for the same amount of house, and banks would reap the profits.
This is not the way to make buying a house affordable. Building more housing and paying a livable wage will benefit everyone except banks and their shareholders.
