Keep telling myself I'm "saving" these little trees from my overgrown rockery, and yet this is the third I've potted in this particular pot, no doubt fated to die.

I've wanted a blue Atlantic cedar for forever, the foliage is so beautiful, but they're tricky to find good material for bonsai over here. Going to attempt some crazy bends with this one and hope it doesn't immediately wither.

Working on trees so I don't scream.

Did some more work with this kishu juniper, and I feel like something suddenly clicked. Really liking the shape, and have made the branches seem more compact. Looking to see how they fill out, since it's started putting on foliage growth.

Discovering a really annoying trend of stressing over a juniper, and then rotating it and immediately loving it.

A little work on one of my favourite juniper trees. It had a couple of errant branches that were messing with its previously windswept vibe. I didn't want to cut them off, so I adjusted them, and it's changed the whole look of the thing.
