I like using long paragraphs because they allow you to do what a camera does—capturing everything you need to see in that moment in just one glance. Reason #2 is that it’s also important to me to sound smarter than everyone else in the room with my hard-to-read sentences. 😄😄😄

Why is depression so cruel? It’s like I don’t even notice how messy the bedroom is, until I come to tidy it, and then it’s a massive effort every time. After, I feel so exhausted and sick from my chronic illness. Rinse and repeat.
