Quite interesting to see how many right wing Americans are cheering on the fall of the American film industry. They really have no clue that the film industry exports American culture and that is a huge source of America’s soft power in the world and without it, the propaganda weakens considerably.

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.

This petition is to help release Mahmoud Khalil from ICE detention in Louisiana. Khalil was abducted from his home by ICE. He was targeted by the administration directly for his role in organizing the pro-Palestine Columbia University protests last year. He committed no crime.
