Wow, I didn’t know they covered so much of the South Island! I subscribe mainly for Mountain Scene, but definitely worth the monthly subscription. 👏🏻

Drury’s gondola plan is solid. Would solve a lot of problems around tourists needing to rent cars to get around once they land. Don’t get distracted by the Whoosh project which seems much less likely to go ahead.

Imagine if instead of providing passenger ferry service we just made everyone own their own small boats. It would be chaos and totally unsafe on days like today. And obviously not everyone could afford one. Plus imagine the dock space required!
But that’s basically what we do with cars 🤣
