Reds made a deal with Fanduel. It’s saying my Cincinnati zip doesn’t allow access. MLB TV has today’s game as a blackout. I know there are SO MANY BIGGER ISSUES, but dear lord, give me ONE small thing that makes me happy. (Side note: listening to Cowboy makes me happy)

With all this crazy shit happening, why wouldn’t you want to press pause for a minute and listen to Tommy and Cowboy talk nonsense while calling a ball game? Go Reds!

Watching the Airplane! and Naked Gun movies on Pluto today. Despite being today’s dumb reality, at least I can still laugh at the movies.

Had to close today because last night I started a project. 1) The board of health still exists in Cincinnati! (This is a good thing even though they can sometimes be frustrating)

2) It was awesome when I was done and waiting for the last delivery to look around knowing this shop is mine.

A good double feature I’m doing: King Pin and Mystery Men. It makes sense.

I understand the irony. Watching Christopher Robin while assembling my new office chair as I’ve been doing so much more work.

I haven’t had my normal cooking joy lately. So, got a bunch of stuff to just pop in the oven to slow cook…proceeds to do an hour long prep for today’s dinner.

It’s a little reminder to force yourself to do that thing that normally brings you joy even though you haven’t felt joyful. It will come.

Just wanted to replace the toilet seat. Guess who’s looking for a new toilet now?

I have a staff meeting scheduled for tomorrow. This is the first time I’ve ever looked forward to one. Because the business is 100% mine now. I just know my staff is going to come up with great ideas to continue to hold our neighborhood/community together.

23 days. Hopefully, it’ll be a nice day and I can listen to Tommy and Cowboy in my backyard for the first game of spring training.

Having some trouble finding info and looking for advice- I’m finding a ton of info on ICE raids regarding staff/employee protections. But, what about patrons? Can the business owner offer any protection? Or are they just supposed to do their due diligence?

Crazy that the same people who can so easily accept the name change of a body of water or a mountain can’t accept a person to do the same.

After being happy over some minor things, ATK recipe failed at dinner. Not gonna lie- you can’t beat Red Lobster shrimp scampi.
I think there’s still some Dino nugs in the freezer.

Some things that make me happy:

Colombia terriffs aren’t happening (I say this as an industry person who works directly with a farm)

I got a new wholesale account.

Warmer weather.
