Ontario/Canada based carnivorous plant grower. I grow at home on the windowsill and under lights, and occasionally sell off my extras.

Pinguicula ANPA 'A' x weser 'Big Veiny', after a summer rain. I was afraid the downpour would destroy the flower, but this one made it through just fine.

Happy World Carnivorous Plant Day! I got my first carnivorous plant in 2015 and never turned back. I'm constantly learning new things about these amazing plants!

Pictured: D. x 'Triffid Vivid', seed grown.

I am stoked that this Nepenthes inermis x bongso has finally settled into my conditions after buying it last Fall, and has started pitchering for me! (Some really nice leaf jumps too!) The pitchers will turn very dark, almost black, as they mature.

These flytraps got left out during an unexpected blizzard this week. It might be April, but winter continues.

It must be spring?! The weather is warming up so I pulled the sarracenia out of the cellar. What a surprise to see some flowers already in progress!

A brand new pitcher just opened up on N. robcantleyi x veitchii, and it's even bigger and better than the last 😍. I really love this hybrid!

Nearly lost among the moss, P. Anpa 'D' is having a nice winter rest.

I only saw P. gypsicola come out of dormancy for a short time last Summer, so it's a good thing it's pretty cute in its dormant form.

Another dormant ping. This is P. agnata x gypsicola. It's leaves are so cute in their succulent form, and I love the way the older leaves are redder than the fresh green growth in the middle.

Dormant pings seem to hardly ever get much attention, but they can be pretty cool. This is P. 'Marciano'

Drosera stolonifera. I always find it hard to catch drosera flowers when they're open, but I managed to catch these in the middle of the day :).

I've been anxiously awaiting a flower on Pinguicula 'Razzberry Blonde' for about a year, and she did not disappoint!

Many of my pings are sleeping and this is a great example of how much smaller a dormant ping can be. The dried up carnivorous leaves from the summer show the plant was bigger than its pot, but now it's much smaller and compact. Still some hints of color though :). Pinguicula moranensis 'San Pablo'

Seems like a good time to try out alternate social media sites. We'll see how this goes.
