For those games, I get it. In retrospect, they're a little old school to play in their original forms, so I appreciate the new stuff they seem to have added, especially for 1. (I haven't played them yet.) But DQ7 has always had the reputation of "this game is just way too long"

the second HG101 beat-em-up book will definitely happen some day! Granted, it fell down in lower priority since Bitmap put their own but there are so many modern ones that I could definitely fill a lot. I just got Absolum earlier this week!

it doesn't look like I ever got far on those capsules write-ups anyway, considering the text is all lorem ipsumed and the screens don't even match the titles

Yup I enjoyed it, it was developed by ex-Compile folks so it's a solid shooter. Some nice graphics too

It's actually completely different from the Game Gear version, which in turn was a downsized version of the Genesis game

I'll have to give it a shot! The only PAL Master Systemcgame i had problems with was one of the Back to the Future ones which flat out won't boot

Yup they're basically the same. So is Jurassic Park but the main character sprites are different for some reason. I've actually never played the Hulk one...

At a different shop in Paris I grabbed Bubble Bobble and Renegade. I was looking for Jurassic Park and Aladdin since I think they're inexpensive but couldn't find them.

Looking at the prices in this store, I wish I'd gotten the SMS Streets of Rage 2, because I was able to get the first one reasonably way back when
