Playing EU5 as Scotland and decided to make Perth my capital (didn't realize the benefits of making your capital also be the market center, and it'd be a 20000 ducat investment to change at this point). I've become so centralized that Perth in alternate 1429 has a higher population than Perth 2025.

God, a thousand times this.
That's the thing with dopamine being tied to task initiation - there's a set of gears that won't - CAN'T - engage in my brain, but none of my problems are with analysis.

This is my point again that the electorate has no idea of what's actually going on. Not in some ideological way, so you can argue whether it's good or not, just in a fact way.
Recently my brother in law explained what gerrymandering was to a coworker and they didn’t believe him because if that were really happening there would be riots in the street
This week I had someone tell me they're not worried about SNAP being cut off because "that's illegal, so it's impossible Trump could do that, so obviously it's just media sensationalism." Another person told me they weren't worried about ICE because "they can't detain you if you're legally here."

Yes. All the empirics on misinformation indicate that the way to defeat bad ideas is to mock and marginalize them. Constantly declaring "hey the far right isn't so bad" is a terrible strategy both morally and electorally.

I did get on the hh:27 bus just now, so I can confirm this is a data issue and not an availability issue
@hfxtransit.bsky.social your website says the 7B goes every 15 minutes, but Google seems to be missing one of the four hourly buses in its routes -- I see hh:12, hh:42, and hh:57, but no hh:27 route, and I noticed this last week too, so there might be an issue with the data provided to 3rd parties

Last night at exactly 10:18 pm (I looked) I stood up from a couch I had been rotting on for days and suddenly had the clarity, vision & energy to sort, shred, recycle eight months worth of mail. Then I cleaned the kitchen, packed for a trip & prepped a talk.
It is ridiculous.
It is ridiculous.
It always feels goofy to suddenly develop executive function and the desire to deep clean my apartment after 10:30pm.
