There’s a new Orpheus on Broadway and I can only see Jemima from the Cats movie.

They say his Orpheus knows he’s been here before and before and before and HOLY CRAP the footage I’ve seen backs up the claim.

she is giant now. and goes back to the shelter saturday to see if she is FULLY recovered from ringworm
Looking through a window from the outside; A mostly white kitten with black ears and a black splotch on her back glares out of a window as she lays on the wide window sill trying to catch some sun. Her fur is yellowed from the lime sulfur dip we use to treat her ringworm and she’s in a bad mood about it. Behind her is a large old man cat who has white and brown fur. he also has ringworm and has been in jail for months trying to clear it. he gazes out the window at freedom, longing to be anywhere the kittens aren’t.

A fluffy black and orange tortoishell cat called The Jalapeño sits on a yellow pillow on the lap of a lady wearing a gray tank top. The cat’s pink tongue is fully touching the lady’s chin/jaw. the lady is trying to contain her joy because this time last year, she tried to pick the jalapeño up and ended up at urgent care. The Jalapeño can love. Or maybe she is just doing some taste testing.

long time no see. been going to a lot of tcu baseball games. on the way back from yesterdays, we found this cat laying in the street, panting heavily and unable to stand on her own for long. she let me pick her up and carry her home where she’s recovering nicely. NOW WE PAPER THE NEIGHBORHOOD
an orange and white cat with a very long tail lays in a bathtub next to a stainless steel water bowl. she has eye boogers on one side of her face, which offset the orange freckle she has on the other quite nicely. she is a little sweaty and disheveled but her tail is doing little end-whips a pile of fliers with a picture of an orange white cat that say “do you know this cat” is on a countertop, ready to be distributed to the neighbors. we ran out of ink so there are lines running through the photo but we are confident anyone would recognize her sweet face

Shout out to my pin-monkey buddy from work who suggested I get a WRIST LINER from the bowling alley pro shop to pad out the wrist brace that has become rather blousy now that I’m not jamming it over a bulky postop dressing.

yesterday’s fit was so good yall. the ponytail was bouncy and not frizzy, the makeup was more than decent, i had a real bra on and id steamed my top to frill- necked perfection… BUT my postop selfie hand is wrapped up and i can’t hold my phone with it so there is no proof of gameday excellence 😭

Anyway, speaking of ringworm, I was driving off this evening and glanced into the kitten room to see that Zoey had put herself in the crate for some reason and that Steve was having abandonment issues. Pls heal up, you furry bastards, I want you to be able to get out of ringworm jail too…

mom is currently in surgery to fix her broken nose. i was shooed away and they will check in later. i had my hair in a bun last night after blow drying it and it turned into MAGICAL FLOOF this morning, which is annoying because i have a haircut today and the good hair is wasted.
