Anyway, the true joy of sports for me is being able to experience SOMETHING (highs/lows/etc.) together as a community. Whether you're at the game with all of your best friends or on your couch knowing there are others out there, it's the good stuff. It's microdosing the human experience.

Positive experience: I did watch the extra time in the Atletico Ottawa game last night, which was the first CPL game I've ever witnessed and they won the league, so that was something.

Only reason to live: Someone who is not Max Verstappen is most likely to be F1 champion this year. However, making this post has now surely cursed McLaren.

Mixed result: World Athletics Championships, World Aquatics Championships. They were fine.

- Rapid FC end their season by conceding a late goal and losing in penalty kicks - with me in attendance! (See above.)

- Senators lose to the Tor*nto M*ple Lea*fs in the playoffs.
- Charge lose in the PWHL finals to a team that is literally evil.
- Canada loses in the final of the Women's Rugby World Cup.
- Blue Jays World Series game 7.
