Love it when I don't have to write location captions for photos. Fun with the 65:24 digital Xpan format.

Last night's setlist from my show in Ojai, California. 17 songs, 5 of which I have not recorded on an album (yet), a Son House cover, a mashup of two blues tunes by Rev. Gary Davis and Elder Roma Wilson, (cont'd)

Typically, I don't play much electric guitar in my solo sets. But sometimes, it's fun on a few songs. So... maybe this comes with me to the gig at Ojai Underground on Sunday night? Nothing like some good P-90s to throw an aggressive handful of dirt into the mix.

Hi friends, I'm playing a show on Sunday, November 9 at Ojai Underground Exchange in Ojai, California. 7p downbeat. If you can't make it up to that delightful mountain town, you can get a ticket to the live stream. Details coming soon.

Another B&W panoramic from the road last week. It was raining when I pulled into Gardiner, ME. But diner food on a cool, rainy New England day… perfect.

Okay Boston, got plans for the night? Tonight in Brookline, starting at 7p.

Jack Romano are I are coming through with guitars, harmonicas, jaw harps, songs, stories, and an electric friggin' Kalimba.

Whither goest thou, America, in the thy shiny car in the night?

On the road fueled by diner coffee, cameras, guitars, and the company of friends.

Welp, that’s a new one. Due to the power outage here in Los Feliz, just had to rehearse for tomorrow night’s show by emergency solar lantern. But, the show must go on… or something.

Hearing reports out of Haiti that the storied Hotel Oloffson has been burned to the ground in gang warfare. It was always my favorite place to stay in Port-au-Prince. Have photographed it several times, danced for hours to the band RAM there. All gone. 😢

Reminded of the quote on the Easy Rider lobby card this morning. “A man went looking for America. And couldn’t find it anywhere...”

Oh... you know, just trying to tear out the cornerstone of legal justice that has been in place since the Magna Carta was signed in 1215.

Good a day as any to wake up with a hellhound on my trail - it was always thus. Robert Johnson, gone at 27, his music still with us, born this day in 1911. The morning spin on vinyl here.

More fun with "Digital X-Pan" format. This time at Devil's Punchbowl, AKA the San Andreas Fault. Where, as the late and much-missed Prince put it: "sometimes it snows in April." Even right here in Los Angeles County.

Having some fun with "Digital X-pan" format. 65:24, AKA 2.70:1 aspect ratio. The view this afternoon from Mt. Wilson right here in SoCal.
