Your friendly neighborhood vintage scooter guy.

Lover of old stuff and collector of hobbies. And Game Boys, too.
I’m fine with either as long as it can be repaired easily and doesn’t have a giant bezel :D

I haven’t liked anything Cadillac has made in a long time but the Lyriq is surprisingly awesome. The Taycan would win if I had the budget though - it’s such an amazing car.

This is really exciting! My big hope is that you strongly consider serviceability of the hardware. Some of the old pebbles are a real nightmare to open up and work on and end up as e-waste because of it.

I paid money to rent this game when I was a kid and I was super mad at myself about 5 minutes after I got home.

I love that. Some sort of force feedback for the crank would be so perfect for game mechanics like this.

Adorable! Is it a back and forth motion on the crank for walking?

This project is amazing! I remember seeing the article on engadget and then ran into your thread on the Discord server. I can't wait to see more about this (and your fishing game which also looks fantastic!).

In grade school my guidance counselor was a woman named Mrs. Nebbie and she was an amazing human being who ran an animal rescue at home. She regularly brought in baby bats, owls, and squirrels to our classrooms and she was super kind to us.

Past grade school they were all turds.
