In This House, we see the world wildly and in wild ways, we dance EVERY Fri. Day. Night, we take the time to think of something silly, and we don’t want you to have the worst day at your job. Also Star Wars. A lot of Star Wars.
I haven’t personally come across any real people who have said that but it seems like some media outlets are trying to force that narrative.

OG Ride or Die Trump Harem Girls both hate each other now but have found common cause again…and it’s against Trump. He generally manages to wrap himself in an impenetrable cocoon of narcissism, but I feel like this one has to sting to the point that even he can’t ignore it.

Good point. For her, could be a combo of a few things. She barely won her last election and is pretty unpopular in her district, so she’s more beholden to her constituents. And when the alleged pedo is your kid, it’s “different” of course (by which I mean she’s a hypocrite). Kinda funny how the 1/

She is horrible in many many many MANY ways, but I think her disdain for pedophiles is genuine, though often directed at the wrong targets. If she see the light on this one issue, I’ll take it, but I still won’t be inviting her to my imaginary high-powered cocktail parties.

Obligatory.

I mean, I know I’m not a statistic on my own, but I follow political news and I google stories all the time.

I don’t honestly believe he’s that vindictive, but when you spend an absurd amount of energy scraping gobs of toothpaste off of walls that are genuinely impressive distances away from the kids’ bathroom sink, the mind wanders to dark places.

As someone who thoroughly cleaned their house today because my partner’s father came to visit, I can relate, and I’m also suspicious that Mike invites his father over because he knows that I’ll clean the house.

Exhibit #11,764 that police are absolutely aware that they are accountable to no one, and they want you to be aware of it too.

This is, by miles, the worst version of the “um, actually” guy.

I know this isn’t new and it’s been part of the gaslighting since his first campaign in 2015, but I will never get used to the fact that this man is so incoherent that we have had to learn how to decipher his rambling nonsense the way a parent does for their toddler as if it’s normal.

That’s not the topic though. The topic is *adoption*. The next sentence is him complaining about “radical left’ adoption policies.

You’re doing the Lord’s Work, thanks for this.

Thanks for asking if it was real, I thought it was too good to be true too.

The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

My read on this situation is that Mike Johnson is the only one holding up the vote because he’s the most scared of Trump. I’m guessing there are a lot more republicans getting an earful from their constituents, so they’re more willing to vote yes than they would have been in the past.

I think at this point, voting to release the Epstein files has become the right thing to do *for them*. So we can expect that there’s better odds that they’ll vote in favor since their political interests align with the morally correct stance for once.

With respect….we aren’t fighting each other. The base (your voters) was pretty clear that we wanted our representatives to hold the line. D senators chose to ignore us. And you’re essentially telling us to just get over it? No. We ARE united, and all of you can be replaced by other Democrats.

I mean, in your defense, this entire thread is because I was double-checking my ability to pick up sarcasm on another reply. So this is kind of apropos. We don’t have to be enemies.

I just thought this was a pleasant, low-stakes online chat but I’m happy to direct you to another of my replies. Since you’re being a bit hostile, we’re done here.

I didn’t see this until now; I’m curious if this specific event is usually college? Or if it’s just Purdue? (‘m sure this is all stuff I can google myself, I’m just musing out loud.)

Not so much normal, but routine, yes. I was only asking specifically about the military oath, as I had never seen it so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind lol.

And the reason he’s actually there is so he can bully the owners into naming the stadium after him. Each detail makes it worse. I beg democrats to heed the call, between this and the Gatsby party, the gold signs and the ballroom…the campaign ads write themselves.
