Design-wise, the ship mounts a quartet of 7.1" rotary railguns and 16" coilguns to act in the line of battle, alongside a potent fighter group as defense against Terran fleet carriers. Due to the massive feature creep, the ships would be known for cramped conditions and poor ability to rearm and resupply its fighter group, with many mechanics choosing to use the area in front of the hangar doors for this usage, as it was the only place free in the class's hangar. A Screenshot of an obsidian document, the text reads; Bluelyne-class 2nd Rate Frigate The second of the most powerful new ships of the generation, the Bluelyne-class is an odd design by all accounts. Despite the lopsided face that only a mother could love, the design mounts still the rated 11 guns in a continued forwards profile, a considerable punch increase over it predecessor, the Greenheart-class who could only bring to bear 8 of their 12 guns on any one target. The secondary battery consists of a smattering of 38.5cm guns and a volume of 9.4cm flak guns only matched by the outdated Portuga-pattern Man o' War. Similar to other Blue Superclass frigates, the manoeuvrability is provided by a number of gimbaled thrusters, though lacking the magnetic plume vectors of the Bluefable and Bluesmith classes. As with the other rated classes of the Blue Superclass, the Bluelyne-class is named for Danielle Lyne, one of the first Tripresidan. The class is often mocked for its unconventional shape, and nicknamed after the Sidefish, an evolutionary offshoot of the sunfish that is now native to Centria Major.
