I managed to brick the brick! It's even MORE bricked now 😅 While setting up a glitching harness I, apparently, fell in a codepath that blew some eFuses related to an anti-rollback mechanism. So my valid FW image isn't valid anymore. ☠️ Now I just need to glitch the bootloader to glitch u-boot 🤡

68 days straight, passed 600 words studied and started learning HSK4 now. My study is accelerating as I learn more hanzi; I have an easier time recognizing old words and I can sometimes infer the meaning of new words and how they are pronounced. Also started focusing a lot more on listening.

"The owner of the ball" is an expr we have over here; which refers to a (usually rich) kid that owns a ball and lets the other play with him, but when they loose they get mad and take the ball back, ruining it for everyone. The USA lost to China, and now they want the football back...

Tracking 2 month progress: had to lower my new word intake from 11 to 8 so that my study sessions could stay at a manageable 1-1.5h a day. I've learned about 560 words, 520 with good recall. Past weeks I began to focus more on pronunciation and tones. I'm happy I haven't missed a single day so far.

Now I'm tempted to sign-up for a payed account to fool around with it... Turns out being polite works (and having access to it's mental model is a nice tool). It refuses to run shell commands, but leaks what it CAN do in it's reasoning output.

One of the things I really enjoy about Anki is the data you get from it. Like this, showing me the impact of changing one variable on how I use Anki (ex: having full phrases at the front of the card or not) and the impact it had on my daily study routine. With data I can fine tune my study sessions

Completed my first month of self-learning mandarin chinese. About 300 words learned (maybe half with good retention). I can watch some videos by pausing every frame to read subtitles and search for unknown words. I can read very simple children books.
