"It-" His voice cracked. He swallowed hard against the rising burn in his eyes. "It was alive." The Herald tilted its heads, a slow ripple of confusion passing between the three faces. "Yes," it said at last, as though stating something self-evident. "All food lives, once. That is the nature of it." Jayce shook his head sharply, hands curling into fists. "Not like this. Not something so - so small. So defenseless. You don't understand." A pause fell, deep as the space between stars. Fire spat and hissed, throwing sparks into the air. Then the Herald drew back, its enormous shoulders folding inward. For all its enormity, it seemed to diminish, as though weighted with something it could not name. The smiling mouth faltered. The blank muzzle tilted in silence. And the sorrowed face grimaced, baring teeth not in hunger but in something that looked, impossibly, like regret.

Jayce's voice trembled. "What... what do you want from me?" The forest seemed to lean closer, each branch attentive, every shadow eavesdropping. The Herald shifted, staff sinking deep into the snow, creaking faintly under its weight. Its three mouths braided words together, low and resonant, hypnotic in their cadence. "I could tell you," it said, voice threading through the still air, "but I am certain you would agree regardless. You love your mother too much." The words sank into Jayce's chest like knives wrapped in velvet. "Then... tell me," he whispered, breath rising in clouds that mingled with the river's murmur, snowflakes drifting slow and fat around them. "I would ask that you try to love me."

The Herald's sorrowed face turned toward him. Its voice, when it came, was hushed, yet the hall carried it as though it were spoken by every stone. "This place has not known a living man in many years." The other two muzzles held still — one blank, one smiling — and their stillness felt heavier than any sound. Jayce swallowed. His mouth was dry, his throat raw from the long journey, but the words pushed out anyway, small in the vastness. "It feels..." He hesitated, searching. His gaze slid up the towering pillars, caught on the hovering lanterns. "It feels alive." The smiling muzzle curved, slow and deliberate. "It is." The word landed in him like a weight, resonant as a tolling bell.

Viktor's presence seemed to grow even more oppressive, as though he was physically pressing against Jayce's back, breathing in time with him. "Oh, Jayce," Viktor said, almost mockingly sweet, "you really think I'm being cruel? Or maybe you just don't want to admit what's been in your heart all this time. How many times, Jayce? How many times have you thought about this? Thought about me? About us?" Jayce's breath caught, and the tears began to fall, hot and heavy, down his cheeks. His chest heaved as he tried to hold himself together, but the weight of Viktor's words, the weight of this, was too much. "Don't lie to me, Viktor," he choked out, his voice cracking as he turned, finally, to face him. "Don't lie. Not now." Viktor's voice softened, but it was no less cutting. "I used to think about it often. About you. About us. The things we never said. The things we never did." He moved even closer now, his voice like a caress on Jayce's skin. "But you know, I never lied to you, Jayce. Not once. Not when I was alive, and not now. Not even when l've been dead. I've always been honest with you, because I am your partner. I always will be."

"Leave me be," Jayce whispered, his voice trembling as he stared at the darkened floor, his hands gripping the sides of his face. "I need... I need to focus. I have a wedding to prepare for." A low, guttural laugh echoed from the other side of the room — Viktor's laugh, but twisted and distorted, like it was coming from somewhere deep inside the creature's hollow chest. Jayce flinched at the sound, his stomach churning. "You think you can escape me?" Viktor's voice rasped through the walls, low and haunting, carrying a sense of mockery. Of something darker lurking just beneath the surface. "You think your little ceremony will save you from the truth?" Jayce swallowed hard, his heart hammering in his chest. "I'm not running from you," he said, his words firm, but they felt fragile. "You... you're not Viktor. You're just a thing l've made. You're nothing more than a hollow shell." His voice cracked at the end, the weight of the words heavy, suffocating. "Am I?" Viktor's voice was a whisper now, like a lover's breath on his skin, and Jayce felt his pulse quicken. "You didn't make me to be nothing. You didn't create me to be empty. No, Jayce. You made me to be whole again." The words carried a dark promise, a whisper that slithered into Jayce's mind, wrapping around his thoughts. "I'll give you a companion," Jayce said, his words sharp now, desperate to push the creature away, to draw a line he couldn't cross. "A proper one. Someone who will fill the void." He turned his back to the door, his face twisting in disgust as the idea of creating more - more of this - spooled through his thoughts. "But you... you're not Viktor. You'll never be Viktor." There was a long pause, a thick silence that stretched between them, and Jayce could almost feel the creature's eyes on him, watching, waiting. Then, the sound of Viktor's footsteps approached slowly, his gait uneven, the clinking of metal against bone echoing louder with each step. Jayce's breath caught in his throat. "No," Viktor's voice whispered again, so soft it felt like a caress, "I don't want just any companion. I want you, Jayce. You, the one who made me. The one who... understands me." Jayce's heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, the weight of his creation pressed down on him so heavily that he felt like he might collapse under it. He had never — never — imagined that Viktor would speak like this. Not even in his darkest dreams. "You can't have me." The words fell from his lips like a desperate prayer, a plea to some higher power, though he knew it would do no good. He turned, his eyes wide, but still not meeting the creature's. Movie was so disappointing it drove me to the point of creation
Jayce's heart slammed against his ribs, his breath quickening as his mind raced for a way to make it stop. But there was no stopping it now. The creature moved. Not in the graceful, controlled manner of a human, but in violent, erratic jerks. It staggered forward, and Jayce instinctively took a step back, the cold, metallic clink of the creature's limbs scraping against each other echoing in the room. No. This was wrong. This was not Viktor. It was a corpse, a collection of remnants, stitched together into something unnatural. Jayce could feel his stomach lurch, a wave of nausea rising in his throat as he took in the horrific sight before him. This was not the friend he had spent years with. This was not the man who had shared his ambitions, his dreams, his thoughts in quiet moments over the years. This was a thing, an empty shell of flesh that had been torn apart and carelessly shoved back together. A low, guttural rasp escaped from the creature's throat, as though it were trying to speak, but it couldn't. It could barely even move without seeming to break. The limbs shifted again, jerking upward like a broken marionette, and the neck twisted too far, cracking in a sickening way. The face - the face Jayce had painstakingly preserved — was vacant, devoid of anything but the faintest flicker of recognition. Jayce's mouth went dry as the creature turned, its head tilting to the side, those hollow eyes locking onto him, unblinking. The horrible, mechanical rasping sound rose again as the creature lurched forward, its limbs creaking under the strain. It took a step. Then another. And another. And with every step, the grotesque nature of the thing became more undeniable. The skin stretched too thin in places, revealing the blackened, decaying muscle beneath. The stitching pulled tight in some areas and loosened in others, making it look as if the thing could fall apart at any moment. Its joints creaked with the effort of every movement, as though its body was fighting against itself. "Viktor?" Jayce whispered, but his voice was barely a sound, the word heavy with disbelief, a plea for the man he had once known to come back from the abyss. But the creature only jerked its head, its eyes blinking slowly, uncomprehending. It didn't recognize him. Not truly. Jayce's chest tightened as the truth hit him — this thing, this body that looked like Viktor, was not Viktor at all. Viktor was gone. Jayce had pulled the pieces of him together, but no amount of science, no amount of Hextech magic could bring back the soul. All he had created was a twisted mockery of the man he had loved. A terrible, suffocating dread washed over Jayce. His hands shook as he stumbled backward, instinctively fleeing from the creature he had created, but he couldn't move fast enough. It followed him. The creature's jerking, mechanical movements were erratic, but it was relentless. It reached for him with one of its arms - longer than the other, the fingers crooked, the skin already beginning to rot — and Jayce flinched, a cold sweat breaking out across his brow.

Why did literally everyone know about the monster??? Why did he try to take care of it??? Why did they make his dad and his brother like that??? Why wasn't bro haunted forever by his creation and his guilt for everybody dying because of him??? Why was this movie so ass. Maybe I am a book purist but bro this was so bad I was genuinely angry. The part from the creatures perspective was semi accurate but still. 90% of what happens in this isn't even in the book and it completely lost what made it good
