This is Uni. She has ridden to work with her human every day in their bike basket for the last seven years. Has been offered many other forms of transportation, but refuses them all in favor of the Honey Baked Ham Express. 14/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (IG: unihalo)

I actually love this one, because so many of London's names come from odd origins, including my home town of Romford which comes from "rum fort" (ford) as in a wide (rum) shallow place to cross what was the "le Markediche" which means "boundary ditch"
When I moved to South London from Asia, I thought Stockwell was pronounced St Ockwell and celebrated a local saint from the European middle ages. I believed this for almost eight years.

If you haven’t read this issue yet, it’s basically what comics were invented for. Neill’s tentacles smash through the entire comic, invading other strips (including Bunny Vs Monkey), and breaking every wall. It’s a glorious deconstruction of what makes comics so great 🤩
ELDER GOD TENTACLES FROM BEYOND REALITY ARE INVADING THE PHOENIX! THE VERY STRUCTURE OF COMICS IS BREAKING DOWN! CAN REALITY BE SAVED FROM THE INSANE WHIMS OF A VENGEFUL BAGEL?

Find out this week!

Just booked a taxi. The AI interface on my phone read the confirmation email, added an event called "bus" to my calendar, set it for 2 hours ahead of the time I'm actually travelling and then alerted me that I need to start driving NOW to make my appointment at my home, the place where I already am.

It is the most shattering experience of a young man's life when one morning he awakes and quite reasonably says to himself "I will never play Uncle Monty". When that moment comes one's ambition ceases.
Richard Griffiths was 38 when he started recording as Uncle Monty in Withnail & I

All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".

Lady In Red, Green Park

I love the Mondrian colours on the Jubilee Line platform at Green Park station.

Dancer Viola was wearing a red dress, so I couldn't resist taking a quick photo of her at one of the most colourful locations on the London Underground

On further reflection everyone needs to be appreciating the lawn of the RadCam a lot more
So that’s how churches used to fit a lot more people back when attendance was mandatory. Gratuitous tower views since I was there anyway and it’s a lovely day for it

Recently, as I was doing some deep breathing exercises in the vestry to cope with some nonsense at church, someone came up to me and said "these days I have to ask God for patience, because if I ask him for strength I'll deck a bitch." and honestly? Biblical levels of wisdom there.
