Building small, but great, products for niche users looking for the best solution.

watchletic.com, a running app 🏃‍♀️
asosuite.com, app store keyword rankings 📈
Ended the year with a 10k race with my son in a running stroller!

A bit crowded in the beginning, a lot of trying to avoid other people's feet. 😅

He even got his own medal!

The only way to get anything done with minimal time available is to do all your thinking when NOT at the computer.

Write everything down, every detail you think of, and when you're at the computer you just DO without thinking.

Taking this downtime from work as an opportunity to learn how to build fitness apps on Android watches.

Seems like a growing platform and would love to port Watchletic there eventually.

Yesterday marked my last day as an employee.

It's strange. Many of you on here want to quit your job and go fulltime indie because you don't like your job.

But I've truly enjoyed my 7.5 years at this employer. Awesome people, such a talented team.

Woke up at 03:30 today to a baby that felt he was done with this sleep thing.

AMA.

Having had the domain hesselbom(dot)net for ages I finally got my hands on hesselbom(dot)com

Now what to do with it? Change my email from .net to .com?

Reading research how smiling can make you race faster.

Considering adding dad jokes to Watchletic.

Dad bod.

Since becoming a father I've never been fitter. I'm more or less forced to go out with a stroller everyday for the baby's naps so might as well do it with a running stroller.

What a way to have zero excuses!

This is what we like to see!

In January I'm going on parental leave before going fulltime indie. But I don't want to lose speed, so here's my plan:

1st nap: morning run
2nd nap: ~1hr coding

I'm currently doing around 30mins-1hr of indie dev at the moment so might even get more done!

My little SEO experiment website I created some time ago is slowly but surely getting some traffic.

Zero marketing, purely generating pages from a JSON.

Did the domain name as handle trick finally. Looks beautiful!

Slowly (mostly) trending upwards! 📈 #aso

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn off notifications for "new follower" only?

I'm humbled by each new follower but it's getting spammy l. Much rather see people's replies!

It's an alternative universe.

You can change ONE major decision you've made in your life.

What's your life like?

Baby woke up at 04:45
Play and breakfast for 2 hours
15km run with the stroller
Now to continue moving
Still kind of dark (might be due to the clouds)

At my new home I have a digital key. With Apple Pay I no longer need a phone, a key or a wallet.

Just an Apple Watch!

Pretty wild.

My last working day in the small city of Borås.

On Monday I'm moving to an even smaller place, to the countryside! Let's go!

Thursdays are pub quiz nights for me!

Any pub quizzers around here?

Listing integrations, turns out Watchletic have quite a few. And more to come!

Tuesdays are my wife's day off from baby duty so it is harder for me to find time to code on side projects.

But don't worry, I'm still planning and writing down in my head!

A good use case for developers of AI that is NOT generating code.

I recently wrote a large function that generates FIT files from workout activities. Those files include a ton of data and I want to get it right.

So I asked GPT-o1 if I'd missed anything.

Got great feedback AND peace of mind.

Time is a funny thing.

That feeling when you build, invest, create and then let time do its thing.

If you've prepared correctly time will amplify and grow.

With that said, my parents created me exactly 33 years ago (+ roughly 9 months) on this day.

Happy birthday to me!

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable notifications for ONLY "you got a new follower"

I'm humbled for each of course but it's getting a bit spammy and I feel like I'm missing actual replies.

I feel so lost that there aren't view counts here.

Which is a good thing really. But takes getting used to.

Haven't even been part of Twitter for long either.
