A short history of the Singer 66 I installed in my treadle. It arrived in a shattered because Fex Ex had used it to break other packages.
Using a lot of oil and some bartenders friend for some rusty chrome it is an in use machine.

This was the second year I've helped the Louisville branch of the American Sewing Guild at the State Fair. We were busy enough I didn't take many photos.
Mrs. L holds a petting zoo of vintage sewing machines. We let sewers try most of them out.

I attended a pride festival in southern Indiana on the 7th. There were about ten protesters not quite blocking the road but I and several others had to thread though or walk around them to get into the entrance line. It was the first time I faced the people that hold you will burn in hell signs

Louisville, KY next to city hall. There was a peaceful protest and marching around the downtown area. Medics and water were on hand. My chant was Equal rights for all, and equal justice for all. While we carried a large American flag.

I had a moment of shame today. I saw one of these patches and had second thoughts about buying one and left the store. I was ashamed to go to the register. I came out to my family just before Christmas. I thought I'd be disowned but i was accepted wholeheartedly.
