Haha, no. His mom is from the McDuck family from Scotland, while his dad is from the Duck family, related to Granny Duck and so also related to Cornelius Coot, the founder of DuckBurg. #DuckLore. So Granny Duck and Scrooge are not related.

Wait! Hold the phone! How have I never realized this. According to the Don Rosa's version of the Duck family tree, Dingus McDuck is Scrooge McDuck's grandfather... which means Donald Duck is related to a Dingus. This is amazing!
