Took time today to clean my shrines to Lord Hermes and Lady Athene! If anyone has altarcloth recommendations for them pleeeaaase let me know, dusty shrine spaces are NOT the vibe :(

I like to keep all my HelPol related books between them, it feels right and makes a pretty fine barrier! Lord Hermes! I value him as my household god Lady Athene! As a future educator and a current student, I value her a great deal as a sort of workplace god (I know there’s not really such a thing but that’s just how I view her)

It’s interesting to learn that the ancients believed shortcomings may have derived from the presence of Daimons or Tykhe. I’m unsure how I feel about this, I tend to view my shortcomings as a fault of my own, rather than blame it on the gods. What do y’all think? #Hellenism #Hellenic #Polytheism
