It was blowing a gale here today in Orkney, but we still captured some excellent 3D scans of the Neolithic archaeology being uncovered at the @NessofBrodgar excavation! These 5000 year old structures contain stones with fine incised details that our scanners were able to pick up.

We reconstructed several buildings known to have been owned by members of the medieval Jewish community on Coney Street. These were grand stone houses, with living quarters on the upper floor and shop spaces for rental below. #3dmodeling #medieval #york #archaeology

A great day of 3D scanning at Hull & East Riding Museum @Hull_Museums last Friday, including the 2600 year old Roos Carr figurines. We captured fantastic details on these late Iron Age carvings... including elements that can't be seen by the naked eye! #archaeology #3dmodeling
