Writers... You can just make up words. You know this, yes? I'm not talking about fantasy words or worldbuilding, I'm talking about normal words that you use non-diegetically. You can just make new ones/use nonstandard words, the word police aren't going to stop you.

Rook is a young Cloudling man with a mop of strawberry blonde curls that frame wandering blue eyes, and he stands in a way that would seem outwardly proper and well-mannered if it were in a vacuum, but he somehow makes what would be a refined stance on anyone else take up way too much space. When in a crowd, there is typically a noticeably people-less ring around him, as if even in a cramped, huddled group, he is so egregiously in everyone's personal space that they still manage to find a way to recoil from him.
On his head is a tangerine-coloured graduation cap adorned with gaudy tassels, and draped over his shoulders is a matching robe.
It appears he has just graduated from one of the prestigious Cloudling schools of magic, though you cannot tell from a glance which specific institution he is an alumnus of.

He wears an ornate stick pin in his bun as well as a large feather, and a protrusive caul is pinned to his hair at the base of his skull, giving the appearance of more volume- think of it as a hat/fascinator that mimics the appearance of a hair covering, but is not actually covering any hair, worn for the same purpose as hair extensions. The artwork primarily utilises hatching for shadows with selective usage of soft shading exclusively on the nose bridge.
