We' have the tools to eliminate viral hepatitis; we just need to act. 300,000 Australians live with hepatitis B or C. 1000 die from hepatitis each year. Hepatitis C can be cured; an effective vaccine stops hepatitis B & treatment keeps it under control. #TakeActionAustralia for #WorldHepatitisDay

Most people with hepatitis B got it from their mother during birth. This happens more in regions with less accessible healthcare. Australians from regions of higher prevalence often face barriers accessing care. Culturally-friendly support can change this. #TakeActionAustralia for #WorldHepatitisDay
