As Trump imposes 25% tariffs on Canadian imports, this would be a good time for the EU Member States who haven’t done so yet to finally ratify #CETA.

I’m looking at Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, and Slovenia.

Mit der Zollkeule kann Trump MEX & CAN wirklich massiv unter Druck setzen. Kurzfristig drohen BIP Schäden von 4,5 bzw 3%. Auch den USA kostet die Eskalation, aber nur 0,5%. Kein Wunder, dass die Länder Zugeständnisse machen.@hendrikmahlkow.bsky.social @wifo.bsky.social
