Crafting supplies: extruded foam sheets, craft paint, cutting tools, etc. Extruded foam cut into the basic shapes of a rock face. A large diorama formed from foam and textured to look more like natural rock and coated in sealant. A large diorama painted to look like a rough mountainside.

After seven years Yevkka was due for a glow up and @absiiinthe.bsky.social was obviously the artist for the job! The layers of cobbled-together outfit combined with the deliciously textured brushstrokes drive home what a journey it’s been.

One look at @abrildelucia.bsky.social depiction of the Guardian’s morning routine and you’ll immediately understand the party’s dynamic but you could spend ages pouring over the details. What a showstopper!

I love the colour blocking in this piece by @bbonbonss.bsky.social, showing Yevkka holding an impromptu dance party with Bambii (kitsune rogue/warlock) and Harold (tabaxi warlock/rogue). Everybody has a hot take on anthropomorphic designs, but for me this is the sweet spot.

These indisputably adorable chibis by @mesandraws.bsky.social demonstrate why our dungeon master may regret introducing a flying broom and slippers of spider-climbing so early in the Guardians’ adventures. Anybody else use Chessex dice containers as ad hoc flight stands?

New house, new game room, new Guardians gallery wall!

Tremendously fortunate to have shared this seven-year-and-counting campaign with my friends and to have worked with so many fantastic artists to commemorate these characters.
A broad pillar separating two doorways is decorated in more than a dozen pieces of artwork depicting members of a Dungeons & Dragons party, framed in eclectic styles. Interspersed with the art pieces are framed photos of the players themselves, seated around various tables and laughing.

Running out of space… on the first side!
