My first introduction to Bob Simpson was through his columns in Sportstar. Always full of insights and keeping up with the times. Only later did I realise that he was a solid opener, a handy legspinner and an excellent slip fielder. And above all, an era-defining coach. Rest in peace, Simmo.

Mohammed Siraj gets one demerit point for making physical contact with Ben Duckett. He now has two demerit points on his record. If he gets two more in the next 16 months, he will be banned for one Test, or two ODIs, or two T20Is, whichever comes first.
