A little touch I’ve always loved from Donna is the ending to Ramble on Rose. Always been a sucker for the build up and release on that last “GOODBYE MAMA AND PAPA.” And starting in 77, Donna would start singing a “YEA-A-A-AH.” One of those small touches where the song feels hollower without

Also I'm proud of the way the deadhead discourse shifted around Donna in the last generation: from a mixed bag with a lot of mean spirited critique and no small amount of overt misogyny, to an overwhelming wave of love and respect.
