I read this today. The passage in the second photo particularly resonated. Is it a perfect book? No, but I felt the conversations with bewilderment, doubt and ultimately horror matched my feelings after following the hearing. Not sensationalised at all. I shan’t be reading another about the case

These are RM Williams boots that were a Christmas present in 2013. When I was diagnosed with cancer the next year I was dumped (couldn’t do the “journey” apparently), and I’ve been trying to kill them ever since then
