Elon Musk claims DOGE has saved $55 billion, but the numbers don’t add up. DOGE released a list of canceled contracts totaling $16 billion in supposed savings. However, nearly half of that came from an $8 billion ICE contract—except that contract was actually worth just $8 million.

when covid first started we organized mutual aid, direct action protests, union organizing/solidarity, we started talking about rent strikes, etc. We can do all of that again. Just this time, let's not drop the most oppressed ppl as soon as the most privileged ppl get their needs met
Now is a good time to rethink your emotional relationship to the state, if you haven't already.
We are taught from birth to think of the state as the be all and end all for how we govern ourselves and allocate our resources.
But there are other ways.
It is time to emotionally distance.

Do you know what they called Germans in the 1930s who didn't really love Hitler deep in their hearts, but went along with Nazi stuff, and did things like Nazi salutes, because they enjoyed how it upset groups the Nazis targeted and other non-Nazis?
