The rig I made for King Anansi (IG:myroperoom). Heavily charred Douglas fir 4x6s, brushed for deep texture and rich mineral sparkle, oiled and sealed in satin topcoat, buffed with coarse denim for a buttery feel. All joints are mortised and set with threaded inserts making every part structural af.

The main cross beam is 9 feet and 6 inches long and made of thick Douglas fir. There are angled braces at the corners which attach it to thick uprights as well as angles that attach the uprights to the base. There is a lamp out of frame to the right whose light is accentuating the soft topographical texture of the wood grain. In the background is a cream wall with a window. There is bright green foliage outside. Above the window is a rack of deer antlers. The dark brown wood has swirling grain pattern, pronounced knots, and char marks. It has a soft satiny shine. Picture shows a room with cream walls and a large window to the left hand side. Beside the window is a Japanese folding screen with a village scene painted on it. There are pillows piled along the floor. On the back wall hangs a tapestry of abstract mountains in gradient blues and a horizontal mirror. To the right hangs black lace around large mirrors tilting against the wall. The floor is filled with 3 large tatami mats. In the room is an H frame style suspensions rig in dark brown wood. The main cross beam is 9 feet and 6 inches long and made of thick Douglas fir. There is a light colored beam of bamboo suspended by black jute rope from the beam of the rig.

An ishidaki board: Reclaimed Douglas fir feet with yakisugi finish. Reclaimed maple spines with shimmery mineral deposits. Oiled and sealed in satin polyurethane. Buffed with coarse denim for a soft luster and hand feel.

Getting into all these poses was sooo much fun. My cheeks still hurt from all the laughing.
Ayala lays proudly in a sea of feed supporting them in the air. Crowd surfing but instead of being lifting by hands, it’s the feet of about 15 people. Ayala has a huge smile on their face, they’re kicking their own feet back and forth out of joy. They’re dressed in a fantastic colorful wacky rainbow dress, and a black latex corset. All the feet around them are very unique. All different colors of polish, various tattoos, a few anklets and toe rings Ayala is now being held in a chair comprised of their friends feet. Possibly the most ergonomic chair you’ve ever seen. Ayala looks so comfortable and supported by their friends feet 150 toes envelope Ayala whole. As they all move towards Ayala’s mouth hole. Ayala is almost completely covered and out of view due to the mass amount of feet Ayala smiles while sitting happily in a throne of feet. Their grab one foot near their head and press it to their ear. Its like Ayala is answering a telephone only the phone is a foot

We decided on a tengu specifically to show off pip’s fresh and incredibly evil nail set. Shot by Axel. Taking a gorgeous messy hoe for an M-shaped ride at DevourATL’s dyke night at the Atlanta Eagle.
Pip and Mr. Goodboy are in the beginning stages of a rope suspension sequence on an aluminum A-frame rig stationed at the back deck of the Atlanta Eagle leather bar. There is a line of propane powered patio heaters in the background that look like towering alien sentinels. Mr. Goodboy is now under pip and just about to bite her thigh meats as he ties her half booty basket. Pip is now inverted in Mr. Goodboy’s pink rope. He is trying to see what’s happening despite the very bright light shining in his squinting eyes. Mr. Goodboy is now hustling pip back to upright and down to the ground as it is starting to sprinkle and nobody wants a messy hoe in wet rope.
