While we're finishing up Dosa Divas, we're still shopping around two smaller new projects. We wanted to let folks know with enough time and severance. Here's a spreadsheet with info on each person and I'm happy to provide any recommendations for any of them. docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

The diffuse light in my paintings comes directly from life here in the Pacific Northwest. Here’s a photo I took the other day of a typical morning around where I live this time of year.

I think what I’M seeing is that Claude does “improve” because the more that gets built and then refined by my choices as the director, the more Claude has a working thing to build on top of that serves as an example of what I want. So it’s getting to the right answer faster lately.

I haven’t watched it yet, sorry! Was going to later this morning. I haven’t found the experience boring, but that doesn’t mean most people don’t. I’ll form better thoughts after I watch the video. :) I was more commenting on being surprised that I think Claude Code has improved.

It made great choices I hadn’t actually thought of. BUT I’ll say this: my skill as a UX designer was required to know that these were the right choices and to continue with them (or change them if they weren’t).

I had a new experience with Claude Code this week: on a new feature for the app I’ve been building with CC for the last two months, I decided to have it make UX design choices based on everything it knows about the app so far and my design pillars. And…it actually made really good choices.

I've owned a small herd of alpacas for the last 16 years, and I've had many, many game ideas in my head involving them. I'm finally going to make one of those ideas. (This is Midnight, Sarge, and Cookie, our current herd members.)

He got up, alert, looking into the brush next to our trail. I thought he was after a squirrel. A small black bear came out of the brush about 8ft away. Turned and ran away from us SO FAST that I barely had time to panic, LOL. He wasn't a baby, just a young guy probably in his first year alone.
