I painted my first faceup ever. He's a bit messy, but it was fun and I think I did ok for never having painted a doll before and choosing to paint a doll with a face the size of my thumb for my first try 😂

I think this would look better with gold tassels, but past me only made one gold tassel and two black tassels, so I had to use black 😂

My Magical Michael has a headplate for the first time in 20 years 😂 it fell out before he even got delivered to me and it’s just been in his box since then. I had his head exchanged last year and I finally got around to gluing it back in today.

Michael is such an asymmetrical sculpt that this was really hard to do. I hope the faceup artist has an easier time of it 😭

this is probably beyond my skill level because I've never painted a doll before and his face is seriously about the size of my thumb, but I tried to design something simple for him that mmmmmaaaybe I can pull off since it's mostly blushing.

I was worried she wouldn’t make it to the US in time in case Japan cut off deliveries, but I wasn’t expecting someone to try to shove her box in a parcel locker. The package was supposed to be signed for too 🥲
