It's been an age since I've been here. Book work, then found an online game where I ran into a bunch of wonderful people. Been spending way too much time there just chatting - but it's nice cause I get to be myself 100%. No masks. Not that I think so - I don't control mine, as I learned last week.

Ever feel like your brain's tied in a knot when you pick up a book expecting one character find out it's another character and try and figure out how you got the messed up but now you're trying to remember what the first characters storyline was all about.

Found an interesting thread where people were discussing The danger of being in a room with a bat. This sad story was brought up as proof that you may be bitten and have no proof. The lesson is if you're ever in a room with a bat get a rabies shot. Also the shots are not what they were in the past.
Better safe than sorry!
There was a very heartbreaking case last year in Canada of a child who died of rabies: they awoke to a bat in their room but their parents did not seek a rabies vaccine because they didn't find any evidence of a bite.

Very quirky to say the least. I wouldn't call the series (I'm only on book 2) a masterpiece but it is fun. Finished book one and went straight to book two and I think there are 10.

Just found out my farrier died in a car accident Monday and I'm in limbo. He was more than just our farrier, but that's how it started. He & his wife always made me feel welcome at their bar/cafe/liquor store. I was relaxed there. Looking at their FB pages, I see they touched a lot of lives. +
