So while the bad news in the world continues, my boy joined Father Christmas on the Polar Express train yesterday and for a few hours we entered a magical land where there was light love and laughter ❤️🎅🏼

It was cold rainy and absolutely rammed in the West End today but George was prepared to deal with all of that if it meant seeing Matilda ❤️

So until he decides what kits he wants for Christmas he’s re-building his Harry Potter train from his birthday in June. Nice to see him want to break a model up and do it again. Hope this will keep him going until new ones arrive 🤩

So last night George enjoyed his youth club’s Halloween party. Only thing was he couldn’t decide whether to go as a cat or Leonardo, his favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, so he went as both 😆

George went pumpkin picking with his day service this week and worked really hard this morning to give it a scary face. He is very proud of his pumpkin 🎃❤️

The dexterity needed to complete these little Lego guys has eluded him for so long. But with his determination to never give up even when it feels too difficult it just goes to prove what can be achieved 🥰👍🏼

George’s mid-week day service is closed this week so he wanted to get started on this project. It’s raining here for the first time in weeks so the perfect excuse to get cracking 😃🦸🏻♂️🏎️

He also enjoyed a visit to the sand art museum where some pretty spectacular sculptures were on display 😃

Whilst we can’t exactly get away from all the bad and sad news constantly being fed to us, we did manage a few days away in Weymouth this week where George enjoyed tackling the waves on his body board and trying new foods in pubs & restaurants ❤️👍🏼😃

George started this Harry Potter bus a few weeks ago. He was desperate to finish it today so we got up really early 😵💫 so he could get stuck in 😁

George bought his dad a Wallace & Gromit card for Father’s Day because it’s George’s favourite. The bottle of Guinness and pint glass is his dad’s favourite and both of them are my favourite ❤️❤️
