One would think.However, my mom always said,"if the military wanted you to have a wife/family they would have assigned you one". It's those members who have a spouse and children who need food assistance. How much does it cost to run our SNAP program for 1 yr? How much does it cost for 1 F-35?

Don't forget our veterans and current military members. Many of our current military members are in food assistance since their pay is so low.
