Great work on how trade diversion works in practice. Between Jan 2016 and Dec 2019, an increase in demand for Mexican exports led to higher wages for workers - with women experiencing larger wage increases than men.

When tier restrictions in autumn 2020 were introduced, the researchers found that pupils in the most deprived areas were more likely to miss school - even when under the same tier restrictions as those in less deprived areas.

Seems particularly interesting this weekend as UK faces another heatwave! The importance of parks.
Living close to a green space during Covid-19 restrictions had a significant, positive effect on residents’ overall life satisfaction, with the strongest impact seen when green areas were between 15 and 20 hectares.
