Lmao, Cricut wants to charge 99 cents for these basic shapes OR they're part of a subscription plan at 8.33€ a month.
Ridiculous. Glad I'm able to upload my own SVG files and that they didn't end up charging for that (... they 100% tried!)

The new Affinity app is a unified experience (Basically what Affinity Publisher was doing), letting us switch between vector, pixel, and publishing modes, along with a few others.
The UI feels very familiar and I've got no complaints there. Seems easy to customize tools, adding more columns etc.

No problems checking it with curl in the terminal either 😭
A few folks have said it loads fine for them no problem.
I've since connected my domain to the Google Search Console where it's showing one issue, & I've clicked through to try resolve it, explaining there is nothing on there but this 😅

Update: I've attached my domain to Google Search Console, where it is displaying one issue detected and gives me the option to request a review, so that's what I'll do for now.

Looks like some (most?) of Sunday will be spent learning and trying to fix this.

Today saw some extra adventure when we started climbing over fallen trees and scrambling through bushes…
Turns out the line we saw on the map wasn’t a hiking path, it was a topographical line 🤣 (in our defence it did start off with a path!)
Great weather for it too.

We watched Flow last night 🤩
It's a dialogue-free animation film about a cat and some other animal pals, having to cooperate through a world ending flood. Loved the visuals!

I very much drained my phone's battery using the Merlin Bird ID app, but it was well worth it!
Followed by a few hours chilling on the beach. 🥾🐦⬛⛱️

The hell is this. Both native apps in the background too, Finder and Messages.
I decided to keep "Reduced Transparency" toggled on (causing this bug) because without it the blur they add to overflowing content (Like a message chain) takes time to snap in and just looks bad.

On the Appearance page you have two "Choose Color..." options - both of which open different things lol.

Giving Element Note a try today as I'm after an iPad sketching tool for lo-fi web dev stuff, which isn't hell bent on pushing AI on me.
