Got a flat on our rental in Mx. Hub cap held on by zip ties, we only saw after we got the flat. Random workers across the street lent us a pump. Tire held air until we found a tire guy who fixed it for us for 100 pesos (~$7Cdn). Ppl here are so kind & helpful to total strangers (Ajijic, Jalisco).

On vacation in Mexico… with my hubs of 18 years for our anniversary. My bestie just lost her mom unexpectedly 2d ago. It’s tough being so far from home at a time like this. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today.

Not sure who first posited the idea, but I think almost daily that it makes no sense that we have a minimum wage but no maximum wage… being a billionaire is immoral, unethical, and ought to be illegal. It is one of the clearest manifestations of human greed there is.
