That's delightful. Funny to realize, but I don't think I ever owned the record. I knew it pretty well because everyone else had it and it was on the radio all the time.

San Jose shows up again. Unions, orgs, vets, pols, immigrants (that's nearly all of us), retirees, workers, activists, and public sector workers on duty and off made this a forceful, righteous and peaceful expression of rage and solidarity 30,000 strong. We are winning.

San Jose shows up again. Unions, orgs, vets, pols, immigrants (that's nearly all of us), retirees, workers, activists, and public sector workers on duty and off made this a forceful, righteous and peaceful expression of rage and solidarity 30,000 strong. We are winning.

A summer breeze can be very refreshing; but if we try to put it in a tin can so we can have it entirely to ourselves, the breeze will die. Our beloved is the same. He is like a breeze, a cloud, a flower. If you imprison him in a tin can, he will die. (cont. thread)

For 65 years, this little patch was a lawn. Three winters ago, I killed it and planted natives. I watered it the first summer and haven't put a drop on it since, except when introducing a new plant.
I can't wait to keep planting it in.

They're not native, and I wouldn't have planted them, but my Grandpa planted these for my Grandma, so here they will remain. And they really are showy. #gardening

No deal.
