The same kid who wants to be Senshi for Halloween suggested pumpkin spice as the new flavor for pop tarts in the bakery. I bought him a nice wok to use for his costume. He’s more excited to cook with the wok than about trick or treating 😂❤️🥘

There’s an elderly gentleman who comes into my bakery on weekdays and always asks if I will slice the loaf he buys. I do - happy to help. Today I found out why: he takes it down to the gas station/coffee shop and shares it with 5 or 6 other old guys who meet up for morning coffee ❤️

Blue butterfly pea flower steeped in hot water colors the sourdough blue - doesn’t affect the flavor but it does potentially convey some health benefits to brain and eye function!
