I've seen John Lurie talk/play a couple times and he would always mention how Anton was the most "annoying" member of The Lounge Lizards. Turns out that's because Anton was intent on them being better musicians and Lurie described him as "like a drill sergeant". He alluded to it upon Anton's death.
