Please know, CBC Vancouver pals, that I would happily watch an all-day livestream of the spider currently hanging out on your live downtown cam.

This is 🇨🇦's most important election in generations. Our sovereignty, public healthcare & more are on the ballot.

Please join me in ignoring every pundit/influencer using this moment for snarky engagement-bait all-sidesism. Y'all ain't it.

A complicated day for the politicians who said searching the Prairie Green landfill for the bodies of murdered First Nations women didn’t matter, and the ones who deny deaths at residential schools.

May the arc of history omit them all.

On Monday, BC Conservative Brent Chapman refused to vote to condemn Trump's threats to Canada. Today he's suggesting the 'left' has co-opted Pink Shirt Day.

John Rustad spent weeks refusing to stand against tariffs. Then, when BC Conservatives could vote to condemn Trump's attacks on Canada’s sovereignty, five voted no. Meet the MLAs who wouldn’t stand up for Canada —share their names so everyone knows.

A warm fuzzy blanket + closeness to those he loves is all it takes to render my large cat into a blissful puddle.

There are lessons in this.

There are 345 million Americans. 155 million of them voted in November.

Only 2.2 million votes across the entire country separated Trump and Harris — 0.6% of all Americans.

This wasn't a blowout. It's not a mandate.
You are not alone in your fight.

To the woman I saw walking up Commercial Drive in a ghillie suit and heels, holding a fashionable umbrella: you have exactly the right energy for 2025. Let's be friends.

Watched The Substance. Need Demi Moore to please wear a big blue ballgown to an award show this season. Extra points if she wears it with a mask of her own face.

Please: someone, anyone sell me a #TaylorSwift ticket for a non-month's rent price! I will sing your praises to the heavens! Monuments will be made in your honour! Children will know of your kindness!

I can’t even imagine suggesting in public that Biden can somehow restrain Trump by modeling good behavior. Seriously, how embarrassing for anyone who understands that little about the world and what we’re in for. Put on some clown makeup and sit in the corner.

Yesterday, ~4,000 tickets to Taylor Swift's Vancouver shows went on sale for $16.50. I'm a verified fan and couldn't get in the queue. Now those tickets are up on Stubhub for $2,200 each.

I truly, deeply, desperately need someone to explain to me why we can't ban commercial ticket resellers.
