I'm over here from X for the foreseeable future I think. It's amazing how volatile and passive aggressive it can be over there. I'll miss my core group of pals but I know some are here already. Time to make some new friends too.

I cannot imagine how anxious and scared everyone must be feeling over the loss of their homes and their personal and sentimental possessions. And on top of that, the added stress of finding somewhere to stay. So much to deal with. My heart goes out to them all. #Californiafires

Cannot imagine how devastating it must be for those living in LA, unable to do anything to save their homes.
People will be suffering in all kinds of ways and I just hope that there is some kind of support... not just practical, but emotional too.
A time to pull together I think. Rich and poor.

Stunning crescent moon and Venus. So clear and beautiful tonight. I’m hoping it brings something magical.

I’ve been reflecting on this past year, illness in September, and someone I met when I was recovering from meningitis who turned out to cause me stress.

No matter how much we respect ourselves, it’s so important to set boundaries with those who don’t.

You never forget how someone made you feel.

This will be my 4th Christmas without my grandson Max. He will be 7 in January. I have not seen or held him Since March 2020. I live alone and have no family left. I have a chronic health condition. Christmas has me in pain both physically and emotionally. I have come to hate it. It used to be a joy

So tempted next Spring to start looking abroad for somewhere abroad to rent. I tire of the prejudice in this country around owning/renting. No one owns anything anyway...when we die someone else takes a turn. Being emotionally and physically as healthy as I can be, matters more.

I have asked this question before but have any of you used a grounding sheet?
The principle of grounding/earthing has been around for a long time and scientifically it has been proven as more than placebo. I was wondering whether to buy a sheet as they're supposed to aid sleep

The BBC produce some spectacular historical drama. Such a change from the utter violent and depressing rubbish that tends to swamp our screens now.

Leaving X is rather like the dilemma some have over leaving a dead relationship.

You know it's not going to improve.
But you hang on... just hoping that he/she will change

They don't.

But then when you finally do leave, you wonder... why the heck you didn't do it sooner.

We are not #lovers
Yet I see no one else
We dance round our feelings
Hurt hidden by smiles
Stood alongside you
A million miles stretch in between
How can I miss
What has never been mine?
We are not meant for each other
Yet I crave only you

Watching Moonflower Murders.
The amazing Lesley Manville can do no wrong, in my eyes.

Oh and it’s shot in Crete. Well at least some of it is.

A cosy crime with a dash of sunshine ☀️

Now then… where is that chocolate?
