I am working on orders today and lined up an audio book to listen to whist doing so.

I have been putting off putting the price of the Arran Capes up for at least a year now but...the time has come. But!!! If anyone wants one and we have the fabric in stock (and we have a fair amount of fabric in stock) I can give a $25 discount.

And...just like that voting is done!
Remember that you can vote at ANY Elections Canada Office seven days a week. Yep, even on Sunday. You just have to know the name of the person you wish to vote for if you are voting outside of your riding. You won't be ticking a box but writing in a name instead.

I have been nerding out on the list of retaliatory tariffs that we are imposing on the USA. Some things of interest;
Sewing machine needles, bells and gongs, travelling circuses, manatee and camel meat, burial shrouds, toilet seats, gold.
Any artisans and crafters worried about their supply chain?

It has been an embroidery, cooking, and book-keeping kinda day.

I love that there are so many great artisans to collaborate with in Atlantic Canada! These Atlantic Pewter Maple Leaf Scarf Rings pair beautifully with our Maple Leaf Tartan Aerial Scarves!

The Atlantic Pewter maple leaf buttons are here!
And sew... I made a Button Shawl. I think these are going to be a hot seller for ladies who want something classy that whispers Canadian Pride, instead of a t-shirt that yells it.

This batch of Alberta Tote Bags is on the way to Capital Gifts at the Alberta Legislature. The last bunch lasted only a few days so don't dawdle if you want one this time!

I have come to the realisation that I am going to suck at the Bluesky thing...because I actually have no desire to talk to people. It has not changed since I was four years old so there is really no point in pretending that it will now.
I will post a picture now and then and call it a job well done.

It is no secret that when it comes to natural science, and the history of natural science, I am a huge fan/junkie/stalker. I have an unquenchable appetite for all things related to natural science but especially biology and earth science. Charles Darwin is my hero. Happy birthday Mr. Darwin!

Trudie and I finished up another huge pile of 'Oh Canada' mittens and scarves today.
We hade one pair of mittens with PEI tartan, one RCAF scarf with a ❤️🇨🇦, and one very funny customs form for a pair of mitts heading to the US. 😂

These statement mittens are handcrafted in Maple Leaf Tartan, have "Canada Is Not For Sale" on one mitten, and a Canadian flag or maple leaf on the other. Choose from one of 3 embroidered maple leaves. They are fully lined and the cuffs roll up so that they can be tucked unto your coat sleeves.
