February 24, at 2:15pm, my sweet Maggie crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I felt her last exhale against my cheek. Maggie had rapidly declined, lost 5.8kg, advanced arthritis, needing help to stand, wandering at night. She was suffering. I made the choice to let her die with dignity.
She was 15yrs old.
