Why don’t you explain to us how you want him to bring more public pressure, but the public pressure he’s taking here isn’t useful? Who do you want the public to pressure if it’s not Jeffries and our elected officials like him?

He AND his team—you know how teamwork works, right?—are doing it to get under Trump’s skin, and based on how much It’s clearly pissed you off, it’s likely been effective. “Fight fire with fire” and all that.

This seems to be the line every time a Dem does and says what they should, from Booker’s 25+ hour filibuster, to Newsom or Pritzker pushing back at Trump directly. It’s depressing that the right thing is now exceptional and not the norm.

I’m 16 years free from celebrating Thanksgiving. Two of my three children also don’t celebrate.
