Not working isn’t an option for many, but not spending is. If Americans are unable forgo spending money, it sends a pretty clear message that the people of this country will endure whatever atrocities it needs to as long as convenience continues. #boycott

I’ve spent my afternoon convincing people close to me why blacking out the system Nov 25-Dec 2 is mandatory in making a difference that doesn’t involve a Civil/Revolutionary war. If you’re not willing to not spend money, you’ve got some things to work through.

There are 146 units available to rent in Concord, and they’re building more. Look at the rental price, and then tell me how someone earning $15/hour is going to make rent or meet the requirement of earning 3.5x the rent. Like I first said, there are places available; we can’t afford them.

And demand like this? How likely are prices to come down when 8,000 people are on a waitlist for affordable housing? If you want to put your degree to use, explain to me how building apartment buildings/houses for 8,000 people speaks to supply and demand.
