Don't underestimate people's unwillingness to change things unless they have no other choice. I don't think they are lazy. Shit, some are even willing to jump through hoops just to disable/minimize telemetry/AI on their Windows installs. lol.

You can just download it on Davinci Resolve's website. The Linux version of the installer is just an AppImage.
